The Marketing section of the School of Business is pleased to announce two new elective courses in English related to tourism marketing.
Tourism & Hospitality Marketing Management (THMM) is an advanced undergraduate course that introduces students to the structure of the sectors of tourism and hospitality in general, and in particular to the marketing of destinations from around the globe. This course will help students who are interested in further study and research in tourism and hospitality to acquire a solid theoretical and practical foundation. The second course, Strategic Tourism Marketing (TUR) is a post-graduate elective (available in Fall 2012) aimed at helping students grasp the significant role of strategic marketing as the principal management influence on the global activity of tourism. It also includes an exploration of the marketing strategies used by private and public sector tourism organizations at destinations. The number of seats for these courses is limited.
